I am an early-stage technology investor, founder and advisor based in Melbourne.
I back exceptional founders at pre-seed and seed stage through Velo Ventures, bringing capital, founder-operator experience and practical strategic support to technology businesses building into new markets across Australia and APAC.
Background
Before focusing on investing, I co-founded Elabor8 in 2009 and led the business as CEO and Chairman. Elabor8 grew into a 150-person, $32 million professional-services business, was recognised in the AFR Fast 100 for six consecutive years, and became a leading Australian consultancy in agile ways of working, organisational design and technology-enabled transformation. In 2023, Elabor8 was acquired by Cprime, a global Agile and Atlassian consultancy.
Earlier in my career, I worked across management consulting, digital strategy, product development and large-scale technology delivery, including roles with global consultancies and leading digital businesses .
Building and Backing
Alongside Elabor8, I co-launched Flomatika, a SaaS platform for lean portfolio and delivery analytics, and the Remote Agility Framework, a practical operating model for digital and hybrid teams. Flomatika was open-sourced in 2024.
Today, I work with founders selectively, principally as an investor, and at times as an advisor or sounding board.
